The Tennessee Titans moved up seven spots in the first round during Thursday’s NFL Draft to take an offensive tackle, but it wasn’t the slipping Laremy Tunsil — it was Michigan State offensive tackle Jack Conklin. Conklin was the second offensive lineman to go off the board, following the Ravens’ selection of Notre Dame’s Ronnie Stanley at No. 6.

The Titans gave up their first-round pick, the 16th overall, a third-rounder this year, and a 2017 second-round pick in exchange for the Browns’ eighth pick.

The Chicago Bears also traded up, acquiring the ninth pick from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and taking Georgia linebacker Leonard Floyd.

Chicago gave up their first-round pick, the 11th overall, and a fourth-round pick (106th overall) in exchange for Tampa Bay’s first-round pick, the ninth overall pick.

At this point, the fall of Tunsil is the big story in the Draft, tied to the tweeting of a picture of Tunsil in a gas mask smoking a bong just before the Draft began. It’s fascinating to see how far he falls — he couldn’t possibly completely fall out of the Draft like La’el Collins did a year ago, could he? He definitely won’t be a top 10 pick — the New York Giants finished out the top 10 by taking Ohio State’s Eli Apple.
