The Tennessee Titans have had an extremely frustrating start to the season. The Titans, who selected former Miami Hurricanes star Cam Ward first overall in the 2025 NFL draft to be the franchise’s quarterback of the future, are 0-3, and Ward and the offense have struggled mightily.
Things have looked so bad for the offense that the Titans are making a major shakeup to the playcalling process.
“A significant development for the #Titans: Coach Brian Callahan is handing off the play-calling duties to QBs coach Bo Hardegree,” reported NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Unfortunately, things might be even harder moving forward for Hardegree and the Titans, as Ward’s health has been thrown into doubt with the confirmation of a lower-body injury on Wednesday.
“Titans QB Cam Ward listed as a limited participant at today’s practice,” reported ESPN’s senior NFL insider Adam Schefter.
Fans reacted to the news on social media.
“Imagine missing the one game you have a chance at winning,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“That coach and team is gonna ruin that kids career! Damn shame,” someone else added.
“Won’t matter. We still have to score more than 10 points,” one Titans fan added.
It’ll be interesting to see how the Titans look if Ward is unable to go.
