Over the weekend, several rumors were swirling that Tennessee Titans would trade running back Derrick Henry to the Philadelphia Eagles. This was a shock to many, even the Tennessee Titans, who said they hadn’t heard from anyone about acquiring Henry. According to Dov Kleiman, Titans general manager Ran Carthon said he had not received calls about a potential Derrick Henry trade.

The Derrick Henry trade rumors started a few weeks ago when reports were the Dallas Cowboys might be interested in the star running back. Still, the news exploded when a reporter and American Ninja Warrior host, Akbar Gbaja-Biamila, said he guaranteed Henry would be part of the Eagles’ backfield.

Most NFL fans were skeptical when they heard the news.

They had a reason to be skeptical because, according to the Titans, Derrick Henry is not on the trading block for any team.
The Eagles would probably have to give up a lot to land Henry, and even if they did, would they have the money right now to pay him, especially after they just paid Jalen Hurts $255 million?
Henry is still with the Titans, and Tennessee has no plans to change that. Over the past few seasons, he has been one of the best running backs in the league and a valuable commodity for the team on and off the field.
