Trailing 14-6 in the third quarter of their Week 11 game against the Tennessee Titans on Thursday, Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers were going up-tempo. But before the Packers tried to convert a third-and-11, they were held up. The issue? Tennessee’s nose tackle, Teair Turt was on the ground, nursing an injury. At least, that’s what he was trying to project.
The Packers and all of their fans at Lambeau Field were not exactly convinced that Tart’s injury was legitimate. And when we see what happened, it’s hard to blame anyone for being skeptical.
Was Teair Tart hurt? Or working on a post-football acting career? pic.twitter.com/I0jRMgxVzr

People watching the game on Twitter weren’t any more convinced about Tart’s injury than the Packers and their fans were at Lambeau Field.
Vrabel might have taken a page out of the Belichick playbook there. #Packers were threatening hurry-up to catch Tennessee in a line change. Tart goes down after initially jogging off.

Looks like a very impressive performance there by #Titans' Tart to stop Rodgers from getting off a quick play.

There are two points here that have to be made.
One, even before Tart fell to the ground, the referees were standing on the ball anyway, preventing a quick snap. If the Packers substitute on offense, the Titans must be given time to substitute on defense. So, Tart’s performance here wasn’t entirely necessary. Of course, he may not have known all of that when he went to the ground.
Two, Tennessee stopped the Packers on third down, forcing a field goal. The Titans then marched down the field and scored a touchdown. Tart was on the field for the first play of Tennessee’s ensuing defensive possession. So, if he actually was hurt, it wasn’t exactly a serious injury.
