Over the past three seasons with the Texas Longhorns, star running back Bijan Robinson has emerged as a legitimate superstar at the college level. And now as he moves into the NFL, top analysts expect him to once again be dominant with prominent NFL Draft analyst Todd McShay making quite the player comparison.

During a mock draft special on ESPN this week, Todd McShay revealed that Bijan Robinson is his favorite running back in the entire 2023 NFL Draft and he had quite a bold player comparison for him as he heads into the league, likening him to New York Giants star Saquon Barkley.

“My favorite pick in this entire mock draft? Bijan Robinson, running back, to Mel Kiper’s Baltimore Ravens,” McShay said on a mock draft special on ESPN, according to On3. “… Bijan Robinson, to me, is the next Saquon Barkley. He can do everything you want in terms of forced missed tackles, catch the ball out of the backfield, pass protection.”

This is obviously high praise for the Texas running back, but even though he thinks he’ll be dominant in the NFL, he doesn’t necessarily see him going quite as high as Barkley did in the draft. While Barkley was selected with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, McShay predicts Robinson to go No. 22 overall to the Baltimore Ravens.
