Tom Brady has, in the past year, been suspended four games for possibly deflating a football, had said suspension overturned, publicly endorsed “friend” Donald Trump (who just called the NFL, “soft”) and has now he’s done the most shocking thing of all: He admitted that he’s never tried coffee in his weekly interview with Dennis and Callahan on WEEI in Boston.

“I never had any coffee or anything like that. I just never tried it,” Brady said.

Part of that has to do with an incredibly-stringent and meticulous diet, although he did say he never tried coffee even as a kid. Boston.com interview Brady’s personal chef, Allen Campbell, last week and uncovered other interesting details about Brady’s diet. Brady does not eat tomatoes, eggplant and peppers because they’re not anti-inflammatory, and also doesn’t eat fruit.

This is not the only time Brady’s talked about food this season. When Boston.com wrote an expose on his personal trainer Alex Guerrero, a snake-oil salesman, he once again went on Dennis and Callahan in his same Monday morning spot and went on a rant against Coca-Cola for some reason:

“You’ll probably go out and drink Coca-Cola and think, ‘€˜Oh yeah, that’s no problem.’ Why? Because they pay lots of money for advertisements to think that you should drink Coca-Cola for a living? No, I totally disagree with that. And when people do that, I think that’s quackery. And the fact that they can sell that to kids? I mean, that’s poison for kids. But they keep doing it.”

No more quackery then partnering up with a man who marketed a product that claimed it could cure and prevent heart disease, cancer, arthritis and diabetes. Or believing in Donald Trump.

In an ironic twist, Dunkin Donuts has given away free coffee after every Patriots win this season. The man that has been largely responsible for 12 of those days has never tried the stuff he’s helped give away in bunches. The coffee & donut chain also famous offered Judge Richard Berman free coffee for life for overturning Brady’s four-game ban.
