Tom Brady’s mysterious absence from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers training camp this month led to some wild speculation about the seven-time Super Bowl champion’s whereabouts.
One reporter took the opportunity to point out that Brady “looked miserable” in training camp while others made assumptions about how his family played into it. But the wildest speculation came from a Reddit thread suggesting that Brady might be taking part in The Masked Singer television show, and Brady apparently heard all about it.
Following his return to Buccaneers practice on Monday, the legendary quarterback sent a Tweet denying the wild rumor – and having a little fun in the process.

“Wasn’t on the masked singer last week. Was wearing a mask though,” Brady Tweeted while sharing a video of a man performing stunts on a motorcycle as part of an advertisement for his underwear Brady brand underwear.
Obviously, Brady wasn’t actually the one riding the motorcycle in the video. But his response was a humorous way to address the ridiculous Masked Singer rumors.
As for Brady’s actual whereabouts during his absence, Brady was reportedly at an exclusive resort in the Bahamas with his wife Gisele Bündchen – which is quite different than singing a song while wearing a large mascot head.
