Tom Brady, fresh off a divorce from Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen, won’t be dating anytime soon. Brady’s divorce reportedly hampered his play during the season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

“Sources close to Tom tell us he’s going to spend the next few months just being a dad. We’re told he’s an extremely devoted father to his kids — splitting his time with his kids in Miami and New York — and is looking forward to spending extended time with them,” according to TMZ.

Brady retired last Wednesday and claims, unlike last season, the retirement is for real this time.

Page 6 reported that Brady has rented a sprawling apartment for $700,000 a month in the “exclusive Surfside area” and is hanging out with “local pals,” including retired soccer star and Inter Miami CF owner David Beckham.

“He never thought that he and Gisele would get divorced. He didn’t want a divorce,” sources told Page 6. Bündchen reportedly delivered an ultimatum to Brady before the season to choose football or her.

Whether Brady’s retirement is permanent remains to be seen. However, Brady suffered the worst season in his career as a starting quarterback with the Buccaneers. Brady will begin his career as a football analyst with Fox Sports next season.
