It’s been quite a few months for Tom Brady, for better or worse. Off the field, there are a lot of signs that his life isn’t going too great. On the field, while the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 2-0, it hasn’t seemed like the quarterback has been enjoying himself.

While Brady deals with the fallout of his decision to un-retire and the way that’s impacted his marriage, Touchdown Tom has been turning heads for the way he looks, how dejected he sounds discussing his situation, and how frustrated he’s been with things on the field.

Adding insult to injury, Brady suffered an actual injury in this past weekend’s win over the New Orleans Saints. On his Let’s Go! SiriusXM podcast, via Joey Knight of the Tampa Bay Times, Brady said that the ring finger on his right hand is banged up “pretty good.” However, he was clear that he doesn’t expect it to force him to miss any time.

“It’s just gonna be sore throughout the week,” Brady said.

As for that tablet he chucked in frustration, he said “I’m trying to make sure I don’t throw my arm out when I throw it, but I was pretty pissed yesterday.”

Brady and the Buccaneers are entering a pretty daunting part of their schedule so they’ll need his hand to be at peak performance. They host Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers this weekend and then take on Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 4.
