Last year was certainly not easy for either Tom Brady or Gisele Bündchen as the two ended 13 years of marriage in a very public divorce. And just when it seemed the dust was settling and all the media coverage had died down surrounding their relationship and personal life, it’s now kicked back up again after a recent interview with Gisele.
This week, Vanity Fair Magazine released a cover story on Gisele where the Brazilian supermodel got extremely candid and open about her divorce from Tom Brady, speaking out for the first time since everything happened. Among the several things discussed in the article, she explained how the couple had drifted apart in recent years and revealed that Brady’s decision to unretire from the NFL was not the sole reason for their eventual separation.
All in all, Gisele did not say anything specifically cruel or unfair to Brady, but that didn’t stop Brady from posting quite a cryptic quote from the poet Ralph Waldo Emerson on his Instagram stories that discussed enduring the “betrayal of false friends.”
It’s been high drama between the two since the article was released, and people had plenty to say about it on Twitter.
