Tom Brady

Many have raised concerns over Tom Brady both being a part of the broadcast team for FOX and a member of the Las Vegas Raiders ownership group, citing an obvious conflict of interest between the two roles.

Those people will be less than thrilled with recent reports from one prominent league insider.

Sources: (Raiders) minority owner Tom Brady recently hosted (Rams) QB Matthew Stafford at his home in Montana, where they spent time together and went skiing. Brady has been actively trying to convince Stafford to join the Raiders, and discussions are ongoing.

Several teams are interested in Stafford if the Rams decide to move him, with Las Vegas believed to be the most aggressive suitor,” reported CBS Sports’ Jordan Schultz.

Schultz then pushed back against the idea that there was a coincidence involved in the two’s meeting.

“If you really think Tom Brady and Matthew Stafford just happened to run into each other at a ski resort in Montana — of all places — at the exact same time, I’ve got a bridge to sell you.

“They were together over the weekend —it happened. Multiple teams are interested in Stafford, and Brady has been leading the charge to get him to the Raiders if the Rams decide to trade him.”

Fans reacted to the report on social media.

“Hey Jordan thank you for expressing what all fans are thinking these people think we stupid Brady fitting right In with the other owners and tampering,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“this is just like when Matthew stafford and Sean Mcvay just randomly by chance ran into each other in 2021 right after he asked for a trade,” one fan added.

“It’s really funny how Stafford runs into the right ppl at the exact right time when on vacation just before free agency and the draft… some guys have all the luck!” another fan added sarcastically.

It’ll be interesting to see if Stafford ends up in Las Vegas after these meetings with Brady.
