The New England Patriots have announced that they will honor former quarterback Tom Brady in their first regular season game of the year when they face defending NFC Champions, the Philadelphia Eagles, and right now, that is the hottest NFL ticket.

Tickets for Brady’s homecoming, according to reports, are going for $800 per ticket. It shouldn’t be a shock, Brady has played a huge part in the team’s success and that night they are going to probably retire his No. 12 jersey as well.

“The NFL is over a century old, and [for] 20% of the years of the NFL, the greatest player in the history of the game played right here in Foxboro,” said Pats owner Robert Kraft in his announcement on NFL Network.

Brady won six Super Bowl titles with the team and the last time he was in Gillette Stadium, it was as a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

It was during Mac Jones’s rookie season and while the rookie almost pulled the upset that night, ultimately it was Brady who lead his team to victory.

Despite being the starting quarterback for the Bucs, Patriots fans, for the most part, greeted him with cheers and of course, you can expect the same when he is honored.
