Even though Tom Brady was expected to retire following this season, things have changed in his life, and “all options are on the table” for his future plans, including a potential return to the NFL next season. With Brady set to become a free agent this offseason, some are even speculating that the seven-time Super Bowl champion could reunite with Bill Belichick and return to the New England Patriots. And former Patriots teammate Rob Gronkowski is among those speculating.

In an interview with Fox News, Rob Gronkowski revealed that he thinks the New England Patriots would take Tom Brady back with “open arms” if he wanted to return to the team this offseason.

“I mean, if Tom really wanted to, I’m sure that it would be all open arms to go back to New England. I would just have to say all parties would need to want it,” Gronkowski said. “If he wanted to go back home to the Patriots, I’m sure those doors would be open.”

Gronkowski suggested a few other options – returning to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or potentially joining the San Francisco 49ers – but obviously, the Patriots are the most notable team he mentioned.

“He has the opportunity to go wherever he would love to go,” Gronkowski said. “It’s Tom Brady.”
