Tom Brady might have a lot on his mind right now, but according to the quarterback himself, retirement isn’t one of them.
While “all options” were reportedly available for the legendary QB, Brady isn’t thinking about going away quite yet. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signal-caller talked with longtime sports voice Jim Gray on a recent episode of his Let’s Go! podcast about the subject.
JoeBucsFan.com wrote, quoting the podcast,
Then things got more serious. Do you even contemplate [retirement] at this point? Jim Gray asked as a follow up.
“I really don’t,” Brady replied.
The future Hall of Famer does believe, however, that when it’s over, it will be over. He said, via JoeBucsFan.com, “Well, I think next time I decide to retire, that’s it for me. So whenever that day comes, we’ll figure it out.”
So, as of now, it’s up in the air if Brady will go. But what is clear is that he hasn’t made a decision and isn’t thinking about making one right now, either.
Brady and his possible retirement have been a subject all year. Probably because the QB did retire in February, but the problem was it was only for 40 days. Brady and the Buccaneers still could win the NFC South and make the playoffs again. They lead the lowly division with a meager 7-8 record, with 6-9 Carolina hot on their tail.
