After a preseason hiatus from the team that led to plenty of speculation about his whereabouts, it looks like legendary Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is officially back with the team.

According to Jenna Laine of ESPN, Brady returned to the Tampa Bay practice facilities on Monday and was expected to be at practice.

Earlier this month, Brady he took what seemed like an unexpected absence from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to deal with what head coach Todd Bowles called “some personal things.” Bowles has maintained that Brady’s absence was planned and that he’s not worried, but the situation still led to much speculation around the NFL.

Following news of his absence, some pointed out that Brady “looked miserable” in training camp while others made assumptions about his family. A bizarre theory circulated on Reddit even suggested that Brady could be taking part in The Masked Singer television show.

In reality, Brady was reportedly at an exclusive resort in the Bahamas with his wife, Gisele Bündchen – which elicited quite the reaction from the NFL world.

But regardless of where he went, the biggest news yet was that he’s back, and the NFL world had plenty of reactions to the seven-time Super Bowl winner’s return.

Brady could potentially take part in the Buccaneers’ final preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday.
