The fallout from the Tom Brady Netflix roast continues this week. Brady’s ex-wife Gisele Bündchen had expressed disappointment over her and her family’s portrayal during the roast. Now, the attention has shifted over to New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft and former head coach Bill Belichick. Specifically, all about the rumored tension between the two of them at the roast.
Ex-Patriots star Julian Edelman, who played on several of Super Bowl teams, unsurprisingly found himself attending the roast. Days after it happened, Edelman had plenty to say about the tension he felt between Belichick and Kraft. He had former quarterback Drew Bledsoe on his “Games with Names” podcast and detailed how things were.
“The tension in tha troom though – could cut f—ing glass,” Edelman said.

The full clip features a thorough account of the atmosphere backstage. While it seems things cleared up eventually, the stench of awkwardness was strong and palpable backstage according to Edelman and Bledsoe. Suffice it to say, there still might need to be some hashing out done there.
Kraft and Belichick powered up for six Super Bowl championships from 2000-2023. The Patriots were the most dominant franchise in the NFL at the height of their powers with Belichick and Brady at the helm.
