The Tampa Bay Buccaneers struggled mightily during Sunday afternoon’s loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, and veteran quarterback Tom Brady let his frustration show when he was seen berating his offensive line on the sideline. Now, Brady is getting candid about the incident.

During the latest edition of his Let’s Go! podcast, Brady was asked about the incident with his offensive linemen during Sunday’s game, and he gave a very candid and hilarious answer.

“I don’t know if it’s motivation, but I do think that it’s a bad day when there’s more F-bombs than touchdowns,” Brady said on the podcast, according to Pro Football Talk. “So that was not one of my better days. But F-bombs, they used to kind of keep from showing you in those moments but now it’s kind of for the world to see. So that’s just the way it is.”

While the moment certainly caught some attention from the NFL world, Brady sees those sorts of interactions as part of his job as the team’s starting quarterback.

“I’m a quarterback,” Brady said. “I’m not expecting the right tackle to do it. I’m not expecting the running back to do it. I’m not expecting the receiver to do it. I’m expecting myself to do it. I’m the one out there speaking in the huddle, calling the plays. That’s what my job is to try to get us going and to try to rally us.”

We’ll see if Brady can motivate Tampa Bay to victory against the Carolina Panthers this weekend as the team looks to rebound from three losses in its last four games.
