The Cincinnati Bengals and the Kansas City Chiefs are gearing up for quite a showdown this week in the AFC Championship game. And while the Bengals are embracing the challenges and disrespect, it’s actually the Chiefs that will enter this week’s game as underdogs, and it sounds like they’re feeding off some bulletin board material themselves.

During Sunday’s win over the Buffalo Bills, Bengals defensive back Mike Hilton could be heard referring to Kansas City Chiefs Arrowhead Stadium as “Burrowhead.” And Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce seems to have heard that message and didn’t take kindly to it.

In the latest edition of his “New Heights” podcast, Travis Kelce brought up that Arrowhead Stadium is the loudest stadium on record and said the fans might have to break a record this week after all the Bengals fans calling it “Burrowhead.”

“Maybe we’re gonna have to break it this week because a lot of Cincinnati Bengals fans are calling it ‘Burrowhead’ instead of Arrowhead,” Kelce said. “They’re throwing a lot of bulletin board material out there.”

It’s true that quarterback Joe Burrow has dominated the Chiefs since beginning his NFL career. He has a perfect 3-0 record against the Chiefs, winning last year’s AFC Championship Game in arrowhead stadium.
