Over the past several months, Kansas City Chiefs star tight end has seen his fame increase nearly exponentially after he began dating global pop superstar Taylor Swift. But it sounds like he’s using his platform and his fame to help those in need.
This week, NFL insider Adam Schefter revealed that Travis Kelce has partnered with Kodiak to donate 25,000 meals to needy children in Kansas City.
“Chiefs’ TE Travis Kelce and Kodiak brand have come together to donate 25,000 meals to the children of Kansas City. Through Operation Breakthrough, an afterschool program for under-resourced youth, hundreds of families will receive hot breakfasts, via Kelce and Kodiak,” Schefter wrote in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.
Obviously, this is a pretty major move from Kelce that will be extremely helpful to needy children in Kansas City, and the NFL world had a lot to say about the move on social media.
