Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence has a lot of great memories as quarterback of the Clemson Tigers including winning the national championship against Alabama. But he says his best memory wasn’t that game, it was the game before.

Lawrence says the game against Ohio State was more special than the Alabama game especially now because he gets to hold it over his former Ohio State teammates.

“The first one, crazy game. And I have a couple of Ohio State teammates now, that played on that team. Davon, Luke, trying to think of who else. There might be another one but those two for sure, played against them. They’re still pissed about it,” Lawrence said on the podcast “The Journey.”

The quarterback still likes to rub in the Buckeyes losing to his Tigers and takes a little joy in their misery.

“They still talk about the fumble, the incompletion, whatever. It was an incompletion,” Lawrence said. “Whatever you guys want to call it, they always talk about it. For us, it was a huge game. And that was one of my favorite memories.”

You have to wonder how this dig is going to go over with his Ohio State teammates. Yes, it was some good-natured fun,  but will his other current teammates see it that way?
