Some fans were not happy after Puerto Rican musical artist Bad Bunny was chosen as the halftime performer for this year’s Super Bowl halftime show. Sitting United States President Donald Trump even decided not to attend the game, saying, “I think it’s a terrible choice. All it does is sow hatred. Terrible.”
To the Preisdent’s dismay, the league made it clear it was sticking with its decision.
“Bad Bunny represents the global energy and cultural vibrancy that define today’s music scene. As one of the most influential and streamed artists in the world, his unique ability to bridge genres, languages, and audiences makes him an exciting and natural choice to take the Super Bowl halftime stage,” said Jon Baker, the SVP of Global Event Production for the NFL.
“We know his dynamic performances, creative vision, and deep connection with fans will deliver the kind of unforgettable experience we’ve come to expect from this iconic cultural moment.”
However, a new halftime show has emerged for any fans who have an inexplicable aversion to Bad Bunny.

Fans reacted to the Turning Point announcement on social media.
“How many Kid Rock concerts do you people want? Good lord. Every single time there’s a rebellious music performance from TPUSA (toilet paper USA),” one person wrote on Twitter.
“I’m not a fan of this lineup. I think I’ll skip both, put on some vinyl, and play board games with the family,” someone else added.
“I knew it would be Kid Rock and 3 people I’ve never heard of,” another person wrote.
It’ll be interesting to see how the Turning Point show turns out.
