Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill turned being detained by police into an end zone celebration.
As Hill was on his way to Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium for Sunday’s Week 1 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Hill not only stopped by the police but was handcuffed before eventually being released.
Hours later, Hill made a big play. He caught a pass from Tua Tagovailoa about 30 years down the field, got clear of the Jacksonville defenders and sprinted into the end zone for an 80-yard touchdown catch.

As the camera cut away from Hill, the receiver began his end zone celebration. But while it wasn’t caught on camera, it was recorded from the crowd.
Hill put his hands behind his back, pantomiming being cuffed. His teammate, fellow receiver Jaylen Waddle, then came over and freed Hill’s hands.

That play helped spark a Miami come-from-behind win. The Dolphins were trailing 17-7 at the time of Hill’s touchdown and 14-0 earlier in the game. They ended up tying the game in the fourth quarter, then winning when Jason Sanders drilled a 52-yard field goal as time expired.
