Before the start of the 2023 NFL season, Miami Dolphins superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill made it quite clear that his goal was to become the first wide receiver in the history of the league to surpass 2,000 yards in a single season. Not only is he on pace to surpass that total, but he’s actually on pace to do it with a game or two to spare.
As Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk points out, Tyreek Hill is actually on pace to surpass the 2,000-yard mark and break the NFL’s single-season receiving record in the 15th game of the season – with two games to spare.
“Hill has 814 receiving yards in six games, the best start to a season ever. That puts him on pace for 2,306 yards in a 17-game season. The NFL record for receiving yards in a season is 1,964 by Calvin Johnson in 2012. Hill is on pace to break that record in the 15th game of this season,” Smith wrote for Pro Football Talk.
It’s pretty insane to think that Hill could become the first player to surpass 2,000 receiving yards and do it in just 15 or 16 games, and the NFL world had a lot to say about his record-setting pace.
And he on pace to do it in 16 which is even more impressive. https://t.co/ZMSLPMphm7

We’ll have to see if Hill is able to keep up this pace.
