Things have been looking up recently for Urban Meyer and the Jacksonville Jaguars. But you wouldn’t know it from looking at the head coach on game day.
The Jags have won two out of three after ending their 20-game losing streak and seem to have a few things figured out. More than anything, they appear to have put the tumultuous start to their season behind them and Urban Meyer appears to be on the same page with the players. The drama surrounding the viral video has died down, though Meyer has been candid in moments about how much of a toll the NFL can take on him.
Despite things looking up, Meyer was spotted looking rather miserable on the sidelines on Sunday as the Jaguars returned to their losing ways against the Indianapolis Colts. And it was noted by many on social media that it always seems to be this way, no matter what.
Urban Meyer looks like his soul is getting crushed every time they put the camera on him lol pic.twitter.com/fKc8LIvQzW

In retrospect, hiring a guy who appears to stare into the abyss and plunge to the deepest circle of hell every time his team makes an error to coach the Jacksonville Jaguars was a mistake.

I don’t think I’ve seen anyone look like they don’t want to be doing what they’re doing more than Urban Meyer coaching the Jaguars

The Jaguars may still be able to rack up a few wins this season but it’s hard to know if Urban Meyer is going to be enjoying himself, especially given how used to winning all the time he was in college. While he’s received plenty of support from ownership, you still have to wonder how long Meyer will stick with it, given how miserable he seems to be all the time.
