Brock Osweiler is either being targeted by the Death Star or fans with laser pointers at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, during Monday night’s Texans-Raiders game.

The Houston quarterback has had enough trouble making plays this year, and having these neon green lasers blasting in his face certainly can’t help things:

In that clip, ESPN’s Sean McDonough says how “the NFL security is aware” of the situation and looking for the culprits, but the laser pointing is still going on in the second half:

Texans running back Lamar Miller has also been targeted by the lasers:

And Texans running back Akeem Hunt may have been distracted by lasers on this run:

UPDATE: Brock Osweiler told reporters after the game — a 27-20 Texans loss — that the laser pointing was indeed “very distracting”.

Osweiler characterized the situation as “very distracting,” during a 27-20 defeat to the Oakland Raiders.

“I’m still gathering information on what exactly took place, but all I know at this point is when we were out there on the field on offense, there were multiple times I saw a green laser coming from the stands,” Osweiler said. “There was a couple of times it definitely hit me in the eye. And it was very noticeable.

“I never want to say one thing is a difference-maker, but certainly, having a laser zoomed in on your eyeball definitely affects how you play a game.”
