Bill Belichick is known for being short and to the point in his press conferences. However, during NFL games, it seems like the New England Patriots head coach is the complete opposite.

Showtime’s Inside the NFL recently aired this clip of Belichick mic’d up for the Patriots’ 27-0 win over the Houston Texans last Thursday night:

If that isn’t internet gold then I don’t know what is.

Here are some of the highlights:

[0:00] – “What’s up V? Since you won’t come over and say hello to me, I’ll come over and say hello to you.”

Right off the bat, Belichick shows off his softer side while greeting former Patriots defensive lineman Vince Wilfork.

[0:12] – “You trying to figure out who’s going to play (quarterback)? So are we.”

Belichick says this to Houston Texans defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel who served as Belichick’s defensive coordinator in New England from 2001-2004.

[0:42] – There are no really good quotes here, just Belichick learning how to use a Microsoft Surface or whatever the NFL sidelines are endorsed by.

However, the narrator of the piece does have a good line about Belichick’s failure to learn the new piece of technology:

“So what if Bill Belichick hasn’t mastered modern technology? When it comes to old school game planning, he proved once again there is no one better.”

[3:24] – “We’ve played 50 minutes of good football, let’s make it 60.”

Great analysis there, Bill. That’s why they pay you the big bucks.

[4:03] – There’s no really meaty quotes from here to the end, just Belichick working his way down the sideline “dapping up” all of his players to say good job.

It’s safe to say Belichick told his players “do your job” and they did.
