NFL players are typically seen as heroic figures by millions of children. Minnesota Vikings wide receiver K.J. Osborn certainly played that role on Sunday, helping along with three others to save a man in Austin, Texas, from a burning car.
Osborn was in Austin, training in the offseason. However, he and his trainer went out to dinner and took an Uber. His ride took an awful turn when his driver noticed a burning car on the side of the road. He took to social media on Monday to post pictures of the incident along with a detailed message about the situation.
“Last night myself and these 3 absolute heroes helped save a man’s life by rescuing him from a vehicle up in flames after a bad crash,” tweeted Osborn. “A situation I’d never imagine being a part of in a million years.”
“I’ll leave you with this. God is real. And his love is real. He will send you his angels to be camped around you and provide you with his grace and mercy.”

NFL players like Osborn are obviously capable of some truly amazing things on the field. This shows that they can also do some special things for the community off the field.
