The Minnesota Vikings had a little fun with rookie picture day this year. Instead of your standard-issue rookie photo shoot, the Vikings spiced up their new players’ mug shots with a background reminiscent of the 1980s.
School photos were on the agenda for the #Vikings rookies on their first day of class.

Laser Background Portraits is actually a well-known meme, and it started as a way to make fun of portrait company Lifetouch’s ubiquitous impact on yearbook photos from the 80s. However, Lifetouch itself turned into the skid, and capitalized on the return in popularity of its background print. The company even partnered with the Vikings to make the shoot happen.
Although all the rookies seemed pretty pumped to get their photo taken, linebacker Kentrell Brothers definitely takes the prize for most excited to be there.

Running back Jhurell Pressy also deserves recognition for his intriguing shot. It appears he is already trying out post-touchdown celebrations. You can check out the entire gallery here.
