during their game at Bank of America Stadium on October 25, 2015 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Many NFL fans are salivating at the prospect of all-pro corner Josh Norman joining their team as a free agent, including and especially in Washington, which appears to be one of the front-runners. Players would also like to see Norman join their squads, also for obvious reasons. But one Washington player has a unique reason for why he’d want Josh Norman to join him in DC.

Safety Duke Ihenacho currently wears 24, coincidentally the number Norman has worn for his entire career in Carolina. Normally, when a new player wants a number currently occupied by another player on his new team, to get it, he ponies up. Mr. Ihenacho sees a business opportunity here…

Ihenacho’s failure to type out the shrug emoji aside, he’s certainly thinking ahead. Ihenacho only makes $1.6 million per season and Norman’s AAV would be a bit higher than that. Not only would his team be better, but he’d have a few fuller pockets, and can anyone complain about that?
