Fans running onto the field in a live NFL game is never advisable, but some people never learn.

Those in attendance at the Chicago Bears-Detroitons game at Soldier Field were “treated” to one of the most insane versions of that act ever.

According to reports, a fan not only ran onto the field during the game, that person did it while wearing a gorilla suit and topping that off with a vest adorned with the words “All Lives Matter.”

The back of the shirt also had another message, stating, “put the guns down.”

It was a dangerous situation, as the fan actually got on the field and right up to the players who were waiting around on a timeout to end.

For their part, some players at least laughed it off.

”He’s like, ‘There’s a monkey jumping on the field,’” Acho said, via the Chicago Sun-Times. “I thought it was a real live monkey. So I was getting ready to run away. It’s a monkey, right? You should see some chimpanzees out there. They’re vicious. ….”

Bears linebacker Jerrell Freeman took a shot at Bears head of security John Tarpey:

“RIP to his hamstrings. I thought he was going to pull something out there. We gotta put him out there. He needs a little work on a couple things.”

The fan was caught by Tarpey eventually, and according to reports turned over to police for arrest and likely a night in jail.

Whatever the fans intentions, was it really worth the arrest, charge and upcoming conviction on ones record? Oh, and did we mention the fine to be paid as well?

Idiots will do what idiots will do though.
