New Washington Redskins cornerback Josh Norman played just one regular season defensive series with the Redskins before getting into an argument with a teammate.
In the first quarter of Monday’s game between Washington and the Pittsburgh Steelers, Norman and fellow Redskin newcomer David Bruton got into it on the sideline. No punches were thrown, but DeAngelo Hall had to step in and separate his teammates. ESPN managed to catch some of the argument as it returned from commercial break.

Though we’ve seen the former Carolina Panthers cornerback get into it with plenty of others in the past, this altercation is kind of a head-scratcher. Washington opened the game by forcing the Steelers into a three-and-out. So, it’s hard to imagine there was too much to get angry over.
The defense did seem to get over the fight quickly. The next series out, the Redskins intercepted Pittsburgh quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
Norman might be in a new uniform, but we are still seeing his same old intensity.
