Pat McAfee Strut

Indianapolis Colts’ punter Pat McAfee has always come across as an entertaining guy, whether it’s his role in a mean tweets video or being honest about the NFL’s fraudulent ways. He proved his awesomeness again Thursday.

During the Colts’ game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, McAfee faked a punt and completed a long pass. Following this accomplishment, McAfee broke out the strut made famous by pro fighter Conor McGregor.

For those who might not recognize the strut, here’s how McGregor does it.

That’s a pretty good impression by McAfee. With these sort of antics, Twitter is always the perfect place to go for some fun reaction.

Fake punts are usually worth celebrating. But when a punter makes a throw like McAfee did, you can pretty much do whatever you want. That’s a heck of a throw. And based on the fact Indianapolis was trailing Pittsburgh 14-0 at the time, he’s probably celebrating the fact he was the Colts’ biggest source of offense at that point. Also, McAfee took the chance to express his views on stuffing Thursday night:

For all of the negative things to come out of the 2016 NFL season, one good thing might be the rise in funny punters. Aside from McAfee, Oakland Raiders’ punter Marquette King has a lot of fun while punting. They might be what we need for the NFL to continue being fun.
