We’ve seen plenty of protests since Donald Trump won the presidential election on Tuesday. However, the protests in Baltimore had a new twist.

Those who don’t approve of President-elect Trump took their protest to the outskirts of M&T Bank Stadium, the home of the Baltimore Ravens. This occurred in the midst of the Ravens-Browns’ Thursday night game. The protests were large in nature and forced the closure of multiple gates as Thursday’s game drew to a close.

According to team officials, two gates were closed due to the protests. However, the protesters quickly dispersed and allowed the gates to open after a short delay.

With protests against America’s next president in full swing, it’s likely this isn’t the last time a protest against Trump will take place near the site of a major sporting event. What is unknown is the size and actions of future protests.
