Sometimes you never know who you’ll see at any given sporting event. At a meaningless Eagles game at the end of the season, maybe you’ll find AL MVP Mike Trout sitting in the front row. And maybe then Zach Ertz will give a TD ball to Trout.

Trout, who hails from Millville, NJ, has made no bones about the fact that he’s a huge Eagles fan, as many from South Jersey are. He’s such a big fan that he recently went hunting with Eagles QB Carson Wentz at the Jersey Shore and bought each Eagles player (including Wentz and Ertz) a pair of his new shoes, thanks to his Nike sponsorship.

Trout also sang “Fly Eagles Fly” at a game back in October, so you know he’s the real deal. The gift from Ertz seems to be a fitting response to Trout gifting every Eagle a pair of new shoes. Maybe Trout can send some of his good vibes the Eagles’ way for next season.
