The New York Jets might be actively trying to acquire Aaron Rodgers, but Zach Wilson wasn’t bristled too hard by that. Not enough for him not to attend voluntary workouts on Monday, at least.

Wilson is at the Jets’ facility on Monday as the team begins their workout program.

“For those wondering, QB Zach Wilson IS present today for the first day of the #Jets off-season program,” ESPN NFL reporter Rich Cimini informed everyone.

Wilson received heavy scorn and scrutiny for his lackluster play over the past two seasons. The former No. 2 overall pick has not performed up to expectation at all. Despite the team surrounding him with capable players, he’s struggled to start his NFL career. Thus, that’s why the team has been shopping for Rodgers this offseason.

Wilson threw for just 1,688 yards in nine games last season, with six touchdowns and seven interceptions. In his career, across 22 games, he’s thrown for 4,022 yards, 15 touchdowns, and 18 interceptions.

The NFL world reacted to the news.

“QB1 reporting for duty,” Matt Schneidman tweeted.

“QB1” WBCards also tweeted.

One fan joked that Wilson “didn’t belong there” with a humorous meme.

“Steveler there?” Joe Caporoso joked.

Whether Zach Wilson suits up and starts another game with the Jets is in question with the Aaron Rodgers trade rumors. But nevertheless, he is taking the right steps to get reacclimated.
