If you thought that New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson’s mom would be upset that her son is about to be replaced by Aaron Rodgers, you’d be wrong in fact it’s quite the opposite.
Lisa Wilson posted two Instagram stories about Rodgers.
The first being of a photo of her son and Rodgers standing together at a joint practice between the Jets and Packers during training camp two years ago.
The other being was a screenshot of Adam Schefter’s report on the trade, accompanied by three clapping emojis. While she has shown support for the Rodgers trade, her son hasn’t- in fact he’s been basically mum on the subject.
Wilson was recorded saying a few months ago he was going to give Rodgers hell if he were traded to the Jets but hasn’t said a word since.
You have to wonder how Wilson feels knowing that his mother has shown support to a guy about to replace him.
Wilson has basically fallen out with everyone in the Jets organization including teammates after he threw them under the bus after a loss to the Miami Dolphins.
That loss and the press conference afterward pretty much sealed Wilson’s fate as quarterback of the Jets. He was replaced during the season by his backup and now officially by Aaron Rodgers and his mom doesn’t seem too upset about it.
