In one of the weirdest stories this month, New York Jets QB and alleged cougar hunter Zach Wilson had his “dirty laundry” aired out by his ex-girlfriend Abbie Gile, who claims he had sexual relations with one of his mom’s best friends.
However, after jokingly reacting to the news on his Instagram, Wilson’s mom Lisa denied that her son had ever tried to pull anything with one of her friends and told those that are spreading the rumors to “shut up.”
“Just so you know, no,” Lisa said on Instagram Live while promoting a friend’s jewelry line. “Okay, the people questioning — no. Just shut up. I have good friends. You guys are idiots.”
“No! No, no no!,” the friend added in the background, apparently making it clear that she was not the cougar in question.”

His girlfriend’s attack on Wilson came in lieu after getting slammed on social media for “homie hopping” once people found out that she was dating Wilson’s former college teammate Dax Milne, a wide receiver with the Washington Commanders.
Both Gile and Wilson scrubbed their social accounts of each other in January with the Jets QB now being linked to social media influencer Nicolette Dellanno.
I’m glad Wilson took these rumors in stride.
