There is a lot to be thankful for this holiday season, and the simple joys can be just as good, like kids dressed up as turkeys during intermission at the Washington Capitals’ game!

These aren’t half-baked costumes either; they’re full-on fantastic outfits.

You may ask yourself, will this article get cuter? You can bet your bottom dollar that it will.

What if all hockey players wore turkey outfits. Makes you think, right?

This wasn’t the only event of the night either, they even used frozen turkeys as stones to play curling.

If you thought it would be a Thanksgiving celebration without a pie eating contest, you’d be dead wrong.

Thanksgiving truly brings out the best in everyone. In this case, it also brings out a bit of the weird as well.

We are definitely thankful for the weird. Keep it goofy, Washington.
