Matthew Tkachuk entered the dirty area of the ice and left with a beautiful goal.

On Tuesday, the Flames star scored his best goal of the season after parking in front of goalie Robin Lehner and the Islanders net with Calgary on the power play. Elias Lindholm delivered a perfect pass to Tkachuk in front of the net, who dragged the puck and scored with his stick between his legs. The 21-year-old’s 25th goal of the season put the Flames up 1-0.

Tkachuk seemingly had no room to operate in front of New York’s net with two defenders and the goalie on him in the crease, but still managed to pull off the incredible move to give Calgary a lead in the second period.

It’s been a great week for amazing between-the-leg goals. Florida’s Aleksander Barkov tallied an equally impressive goal last week scoring on a breakaway against the Montreal Canadiens.

Tkachuk’s goal broke a 14-game goalless drought. That’s about the fanciest way possible to break out of a slump.
