The NHL dipped its toes into jersey ads with the World Cup of Hockey. They haven’t quite let anyone wear an ad during a game but practice is fair game for the right price.
In case you didn’t know, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is coming soon to a theater near you. And if you’re a San Jose Sharks fan, now you know which side the hockey team will be on. They’re #TeamRebels. Sorry, Empire.
The Sharks went so far to pledge their allegiance with Star Wars-specific sweaters at practice this Friday morning.
