The Seattle Kraken had their expansion draft on Wednesday night, selecting one player from each NHL team (except for the Vegas Golden Knights, due to just entering the league in 2017). The draft got started with the Kraken selecting defenseman Jeremy Lauzon from the Boston Bruins.

The event also featured the first look at players wearing the Kraken jerseys. The home jersey is in navy, while the road jerseys are white. They’ve been very well-received by fans so far.

Seattle SuperSonics legends Shawn Kemp and Gary Payton were among the sports stars in attendance, and Kemp wore this tiny shirt:

This Seattle franchise will be a fun addition to the league, and their jerseys should look great in action.
