The Ottawa Senators lost 1-0 to the Pittsburgh Penguins in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Monday night. It was a very boring, defensive hockey game, that drew plenty of mocking on social media.

After the game, a reporter told Ottawa head coach Guy Boucher that people on Twitter were talking about how it was an ugly game. The reporter asked Boucher, “Did it look ugly to you?”

Boucher responded with a mini rant about Twitter, saying he has never read it and doesn’t even know how to get on it:

I don’t read Twitter. I’ve never read that in my life. I don’t even know how to get on it. I don’t pay attention to that.”

The same reporter then asked Boucher if the game was pleasing to watch, and Boucher responded, “I’m not watching it; I’m coaching it.”

Here’s video:

So, feel free to mock Boucher all you want on Twitter, as he’s certainly not going to notice!

Boucher’s Senators will look to grab the series lead back in Game 3 on Wednesday night in Ottawa.
