The Pittsburgh Penguins returned home to Pittsburgh this week to celebrate their most recent Stanley Cup championship. As is normally the case when a team clinches a championship on the road, there were fans ready to greet the players at the airport upon their arrival. For one young impressionable Penguins fan, the experience of seeing the Cup champions return home was made even more special by Sidney Crosby.
A local news station interviewed a kid wearing a T-shirt Crosby had signed, and the kid broke into tears just talking about it.
“I got my shirt signed by Sidney Crosby… It’s the best day of my life!” It’s okay, buddy! We’d be just as excited. #BecauseItsTheCup pic.twitter.com/QNQ1HqR3Gt

You may absolutely abhor Crosby as a hockey player, because as good as he may be he can be a bit of a weasel, but you cannot do anything but praise Crosby for making this kid’s day.

Crosby is a weasel unless he’s on your team.
