While the world was praising Kevin Durant’s performance off the bench against Serbia, scoring 23 points while going 8/9 from the field, FS1’s Skip Bayless was dragging him.
Bayless called Durant “thin-skinned” after the NBA star got into it with Bayless’s Undisputed co-host Keyshawn Johnson.
“If the Jets would’ve took Jonathan Ogden, Marvin Harrison, Ray Lewis, or Eddie George number 1 they would’ve been better off,” Durant wrote on social media. “I hate hypotheticals.”
Durant was referring to the New York Jets making Johnson their No. 1 overall draft pick which turned into a flop for them.
“In my opinion, I don’t believe Kevin Durant even saw the show,” Johnson admitted. “I think somebody gave him the clip and he reacted on it. So, them lame-ass people that gave you that clip and that you talked to, they should give you all the information. Because I ain’t never had a bone to pick with Kevin Durant. We different. We so different it ain’t even funny. Cause I’m not sitting around having burner phones worrying about what people talking about. I’m not worrying about that. That’s the least of my worries as a player.”
“Kevin Durant is the thinnest-skinned superstar in the history of sports.”

Bayless decided to add his two cents to the situation as well.
“What would provoke him to get so upset to take a petty cheap shot at you it’s just sports talk makes the world go round,” says Bayless. “Then you stoop to take shots at my guy. He is the thinnest skin superstar in the history of sports. Kevin, what are you doing? You are so much better than this.”
Bayless has a reputation for taking petty cheap shots at plenty of athletes like LeBron James or Dak Prescott. The difference is, unlike Durant, they ignore the noise. Maybe Durant should do the same.
