Team USA Basketball is flexing their financial muscles to avoid sleeping in athletes village at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

According to the Daily Mail, Team USA basketball has chartered the Silversea Silver Cloud, a massive luxury yacht, and will dock it in Rio. The yacht fits almost 300 guests, but team USA won’t be sharing, as it’s expected to be nowhere close to filled capacity.

The ship comes with custom-built seven-foot beds, a pool, gym, spa, shops and a cigar lounge. It’s basically a resort, where Team USA Basketball can go and chill in between their games.

The NBA stars won’t have to worry about taking in local culture or interacting with fans on streets. Instead, they can isolate themselves from everything and continue to live their lavish lives, illustrating they are the true one percenters of the Olympic Games.

The Daily Mail reports the yacht is under strict guard, with bullet proof glass fences and police security in the water. The chances of someone breaking in are next to slim. The downside to the ship? It’s in the Bay of Rio, where construction is still underway. Still, the drilling and construction shouldn’t both Team USA when they arrive tomorrow. It’s a significant upgrade over athlete’s village.

It would be nice to see the NBA stars open up their yacht for more athletes. They have the room. But, considering they’re used to a lavish lifestyle, the chances they’ll want to remain isolated from everything is quite high. It must be nice to be rich.
