Usain Bolt brings out the best in everybody. You don’t have to be a track and field aficionado to enjoy the world’s fastest man making the rest of the fastest men in the world look slow.

Bolt won his third consecutive gold medal in the 200-meter event at the Rio Summer Olympics Thursday, and did so in impressive fashion. As is often the case with Bolt, the race simply was not close.

But that didn’t make the event any less exciting or bring down the anticipation. Some fun proof of this came from Twitter user @KendraHansey, who posted a video of her mother cheering on Bolt with pot lids.

We all have our own ways of cheering on our favorite athletes, and this is just another form of that. Though maybe it’s fortunate that slamming pot lids together to express excitement is done in private, at home.

Maybe this could be considered the 2016 Olympics version of the vuvuzela made infamous during the 2010 World Cup. Any chance this catches on? Should we soon expect a stated ban on pot lids in stadiums and drinking establishments in the future?
