Former U.S. President Donald Trump hasn’t made friends in many pro sports circles but he seems to have cemented himself as a prominent fan of UFC.
UFC President Dana White is a big fan of his and recently shared how “insane” the crowds can get when Trump, who was recently arrested and charged with 34 felony counts for falsifying New York business records, attends one of the MMA events.
White recently appeared on Fox News’s Unfiltered podcast with Dan Bongino and was asked what it was like when the sold-out crowd saw Trump at UFC 287 in Miami on April 8.
“It’s insane, you know, if you think about this, I’ve been doing this for, like, 23 years,” said White. “When you’re walking with Trump, it’s a whole ‘nother level, man. The entire place erupted. Everybody was going crazy, and it was fun.”
Trump and White entered the area together and they both sat front row just outside of the octagon. Mike Tyson and Kid Rock were some of the other celebrities seated nearby.
The crowd also chanted vociferously for Trump, who is once again running for President in 2024 and was instrumental in inciting the January 6 insurrection that led to multiple deaths.
