Donald Trump

Former United States President Donald Trump is no stranger to the golf course, owning several of them himself throughout the world. And this week, he was back on the course again as part of the LIV Golf pro-am ahead of this week’s LIV Golf tournament at the Trump National Golf Club in Washington, DC.

On Thursday morning, the former president took the course with Eric Trump, Patrick Reed and Bob Koepka at the course in Sterling, Virginia, and he began by pulling out his driver for the 416-yard par 4, much to the delight of the crowd who gave him a cheer as he approached the tee.

“HAPPENING NOW: Former President Donald Trump teeing off at the LIV Golf ProAm Tournament at Trump National in Virginia,” Sharla McBride of WUSA9 said in a tweet on Thursday morning.

In the video, Trump’s name was announced as he heads to the tee: “Now driving, President Trump.”

The former president then took several practice swings to warm up before his drive and eventually hit the ball. Trump clearly liked his swing, saying “good ball” as it flew through the air.

The video quickly went viral as people across the social media world weighed in on the former president’s golf swing.

Trump himself didn’t have too much to say about his golf game on Thursday, telling reporters that the group was “just having fun.”

“It’s fine. We’re just having fun. We’re playing best ball, I guess,” Trump said according to USA Today.
