Washington, D.C., has been set on fire by the ongoing feud between tech billionaire Elon Musk and Donald Trump, the President of the United States. Trump and Elon worked together through the start of Trump’s second term, with Musk serving in the administration as an efficiency expert.

However, the pair’s business relationship has ended, and Musk has left the role. Things have turned sour since, with a nasty back-and-forth spat taking place on social media on Thursday.

It appears that Trump has grown sick of the back-and-forth and is ready to bury Musk and his companies once and for all.

“The easiest way to save money in our Budget, Billions and Billions of Dollars, is to terminate Elon’s Governmental Subsidies and Contracts. I was always surprised that Biden didn’t do it!” Trump posted on his Truth social website.

People reacted to Trump’s post on social media.

“Mr President we  (knew) that you were going to continue supporting oil and that the ‘electronics cars’ or others were not of your interest and I personally agree w/you,” one person wrote.

“I wonder why you always seems to get people that work with you to dislike you. And of course why you always stab them in the back afterwards and say how terrible they were. Are you bad at hiring people?” someone else wanted to know.

It’ll be interesting to see if Trump follows through and cancels Musk’s government contracts.
