Herschel Walker US Senate candidate Herschel Walker speaks during a campaign stop on Wednesday November 2, 2022 in Richmond Hill, Georgia.

Herschel Walker has engulfed himself in scandal.

According to an explosive report by The Daily Beast, emails showed that the former Heisman Trophy winner-turned-politician “solicited hundreds of thousands of dollars for his business from a billionaire donor, with the donor believing he was giving to Walker’s campaign.” Citizens tweeted the note for Ethics.

The report wrote, “When Herschel Walker emailed a representative for billionaire industrialist and longtime family friend Dennis Washington in March 2022, he seemed to be engaging in normal behavior for a political candidate. He was asking for money.

“But unbeknownst to Washington and the billionaire’s staff, Walker’s request was far more out of the ordinary,” they wrote. The report indicates that Walker “was soliciting hundreds of thousands of dollars for his own personal company–a company that he never disclosed on his financial statements.”

The stunning report indicated that Herschel Walker “asked Washington to wire $535,200 directly” to HR Talent, LLC, the company the Georgia politician failed to disclose. Washington was unaware that this was anything but a political contribution.

Walker lost the Georgia Senate runoff to Reverend Ralph Warnock. So not only did he face humiliation there, but he may now face further humiliation due to this scandal.

Walker could be facing a mountain of trouble, as the report said, citing legal experts, “The emails suggest exponential violations of federal fundraising rules; in the worst case, they could be an indication of more serious crimes, such as wire fraud.”

Walker’s GOP campaign, of course, was backed by former President Donald Trump.

The audacious Herschel Walker scandal drew significant reactions from around the world.
